JRR deployed several experts to the CFJ to support their efforts in filling the recent cases before German courts.
Justice Rapid Response welcomes the recent filling of three cases before German courts by the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Docket Initiative regarding international crimes committed in Ukraine.
We were pleased to collaborate with the Docket Initiative’s team by providing technical support through the deployment of a legal advisor, a military expert, an open-source investigator and a corporate crimes and financial analyst.
Together, they contributed to enhancing CFJ’s technical understanding of German legislations and procedural requirements, expanding its understanding of key military aspects of a line of inquiry, answering key outstanding question through digital investigative techniques, and advancing CFJ’s planning for future financial investigations, therefore bridging a crucial gap in terms of capacities.
