The JRR January Newsletter Is Out!

The official trailer of JRR’s new short-documentary on Ukraine’s justice process is now out!

Dear JRR Community,

We are pleased to present you the first edition of our newsletter for 2026 !

Last month, Justice Rapid Response (JRR) organized a panel discussion on ways to promote a victim-centered approach in Ukraine justice processes. It was also the opportunity to premiere our new short-documentary film on Ukraine entitled Surviving Izolyatsia. Check out our key takeaways below and our official trailer here.

JRR wishes to thank Lyudmila Heysenova and Daniil Bulgakov for sharing their story with us, and for contributing to making Ukraine’s justice processes effectively victim-centred. This new film was made possible thanks to the contribution of Global Affairs Canada and was directed by Nicolas Braguinsky Cascini and Juan Pablo Aris Escarcena from Mandorla Films, and produced by JRR.
