Justice Rapid Response and Save the Children International have developed a new e-learning course titled Integrating a Child Rights Approach in Accountability Work, an online course dedicated to increase the capacity of justice and human rights experts to integrate a child rights sensitive approach in their accountability work.

Mid-term Evaluation of the JRR Rapid Response Fund

JRR is pleased to announce it completed an external independent evaluation mandated by Finland and conducted by an independent company, COWATER, between September 2023 and March 2024. The positive results of the evaluation are a testimony to JRR’s ability to answer it’s partners’ needs in terms of highly technical expertise to bolster justice and accountability efforts worldwide.

When national authorities in The Gambia needed forensic expertise to carry out investigations into atrocities committed under the regime of former President Yahya Jammeh, Justice Rapid Response was there to help. This short film goes behind the scenes with forensic pathologist Dr. Steve Naidoo as he identifies human remains and investigates cause of death. 

This short documentary features two SGBV investigators on the JRR-UN Women SGBV Justice Experts Roster who were deployed to the UN investigations in Syria and Iraq, and four survivor-witnesses they met during their work – examining brave efforts to bring perpetrators to justice, and the importance of quality and timely investigations of sexual and gender-based violence.
